If you’re looking to get some TLFI and other great brands at a price much less than usual, head over to the Grey One store in Pasadena for the Trunk Show. There’s also gonna be food and drinks. I was hoping for some Korean BBQ but Jerry has informed me that it’s not happening.
On the way to work this morning I listened to one of the greatest bands of all time, and if you haven’t heard of them, just check this out and it might grab your attention just a bit.
Xpoz May Issue has an interview with DJ Cannon and Cannon knowing what’s good was repping TLFI’s Hood Rich Tee in Black. If you haven’t picked up and issue of Xpoz by now you should, and if you’ve never heard a DJ Cannon mix tape then you’re really sleepin.
DKNY used to be a stand up brand, but then their look pretty much didn’t hold peoples attention anymore. So they decided hey let’s just knock other brands off that actually have cool designs. It’s a shame a company that once had some actual creativeness to it and was respected has stooped to such low levels. To the designers of DKNY you are worthless hacks and you know it. Trying to replicate a shirt we put out 2.5 years ago is really sad, especially because you did such a horrible job. Rock & Roll East Side? wow, totally pathetic.
If you’re in So Cal head down to Chain Reaction tonight for H20. I haven’t seen these guys for a few years although I did run into Toby at PF a few weeks ago. If you go, you will most likely catch me jumping around trying to remember what it feels like to be young. If you’re saying to yourself, why does everyone look the same, buy some TLFI and start standing out.
Josh Burkman is from the same place I spent my childhood, Utah. It’s good to see someone from there representing for TLFI. Hopefully you got your hands on one of these, the Raised By Wolves modal hooded thermal. We may bring them back out for this fall due to the popularity.
The No Beast V Neck in white has been featured in the graphic tees section of the new Antenna. I’m not sure who told them the name was Tiger Rose, but it def wasn’t me. Look for this shirt to be in stores in about a month.
Jorge O who currently holds the PFC light heavyweight belt was seen recently showing it off while wearing the Neighborhood Watch shirt in Black. You can still pick this one up at the webstore, but not for much longer. It’s funny because here at TLFI we’ve never paid fighters to wear our clothes, but they constantly show up in them. I suppose when you’re not being paid to wear something lame you may aswell wear something that’s actually cool.
Josh Gattis of the Chicago Bears showed up (wearing Brand of the Hand in Black) at the Celebowl for the Jason McKie Foundation, if you’re not familiar with it, the Jason McKie Foundation of the Institute for Science and Health strives to make an impact in the lives of families of soldiers. The Foundation provides educational scholarships to children and spouses affected by a loss or severely injured parent or spouse. Through the Foundation, Jason also looks to host various activities with military families to give back to those who give so much to our country.
